Flaky Pastry Dough

A great staple recipe for all your recipes sweet and savoury!
What you’ll need
1 ⅔ cup The Healthy Baker Plain Flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
220g cold unsalted butter, cubed
¼ cup ice cold water
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in the bowl of a food processor and blitz for a few seconds. Add the butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Now add the water and pulse again until the dough just begins to come together.
Tip onto a lightly floured work surface and bring together with the heel of your hand.
Gently work the dough until it is a nice, smooth disc of dough.
Then wrap in plastic and place in the fridge to chill for half an hour.
