Plum and Hazelnut Crumble

The best thing about crumbles is that they are incredibly simple to make and can be with most fruits.

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup The Healthy Baker Plain Flour
  • pinch ground cinnamon
  • 115g unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • ½ cup almonds
  • 6 plums, quartered and stones removed
  • to serve custard

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees, line a baking tray with paper.

Place the oats, sugar, flour, spices and butter in your Thermomix bowl and press turbo a few times until you have a nice roughly chopped consistency.

Tip into a bowl, add the almonds to the Thermomix bowl and press turbo once to roughly chop.

Add nuts to the crumble mixture and stir to combine.

Spread crumble over your prepared tray and bake for 20 minutes, tossing the mixture around about halfway through, or until crumble is golden brown.

Divide the fruit between four serving bowls, top with the crumble and drizzle with custard.
