In a mixing bowl, whisk the pancake mix and water together until the mixture is smooth.
Melt some butter in a pan and use the mixture to form tiny pancakes, about 2cm across. When bubbles form on the top and the pancakes are golden on the underside, flip them and cook them on the other side.
Repeat step 2 until no mixture remains.
To assemble your trifle, add layers of mini pancakes, sliced strawberries, berry compote and yoghurt to your preferred serving container.
