In an all-natural, chemical-free wet extraction process pioneered by Manildra Group, The Healthy Baker’s low FODMAP range of all-purpose and specialty flours and baking mixes are milled to remove FODMAPs from 100 per cent non-GMO, premium wheat.

The Healthy Baker low FODMAP range has been tested by government-registered certifier FODMAP Friendly, with DTS Food Laboratories, and accredited for people suffering digestive symptoms associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which have not been relieved by a gluten-free diet.

FODMAPs (or Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols) are short-chain carbohydrates (found in many fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy foods and sweeteners) that can affect digestion.

Poorly absorbed FODMAPs can attract excessive water and fermentable bacteria that cause gas and bloating symptoms associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

To date, a low FODMAP diet has shown the most effective method of relieving IBS-type symptoms (for up to 85 per cent of patients), with Australia research verified by international studies in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Scandinavia.
